Favorite Kuler Schemes
Kuler is an excellent resource for color schemes, especially for web design because they don't give you an overwhelming amount of colors (some sites will have color schemes that consist of more like 20 colors)
These are a few of my favorite themes that I just keep coming back to over and over again!
Some of my Favorite Sites
There are a few sites out there that I use every single day and I think some of you might find them handy.
5 Days, 10 Hours to go
Well, we are at day two of the World's First Internet Balloon Race. I started at about 800th place, then moved up to 400... then 200... then about 40th. This morning I was back at about 200th but Im gaining again and currently in 65th place. The prize is a trip to Ibiza... not exactly banking on winning since the winner is quite far ahead... but I mean.. I definitely would not complain if I won! Anyways...
I discovered that you can only be boosted a max amount of times... which kind of sucks. I had a bunch of people lined up to boost me and now they cant :\.
Facebook Smileys
I'm sure lots of you use the well-known Facebook, and Im sure many of you are familiar with their new little chat system they have put into play. One thing they dont show, is the CODES to put smiley's in your text... so Im going to show them to you!
Cool Workspaces
After my trip over to Vancouver for Drupal Camp, I have not been able to stop thinking about the place where the conference was held on the 2nd day. To me, it was an ideal workspace. Open concept with lots of windows, bright paint, and very cool artwork. It's also had small meeting rooms which are nice when you need some alone time. Anyways, I wanted to share this article from Design Shack on Inspirational Workspaces. Enjoy!
